Dew drops of friendship…

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

~ Kahlil Gibran

It was a pleasant morning after a light drizzle and I was walking in the garden, where I spied this little wild-flower, with water droplets on its petals….it was so beautifl, it just had to be captured Smile

Every time I see this serene Buddha clicked by us at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum, the Serenity Prayer comes to mind 😊

O God, give us the serenity to accept what cannot be changed,

The courage to change what can be changed,

and the wisdom to know the one from the other

Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.

Walls we build around us …..

Humans are called social animals, but they always build walls to keep other humans away….

The beauty of Nature….

Nature is so beautiful that even leaves that are dying with the changing seasons have so much beauty and art embedded in them. I was just walking down a path in the Delhi zoo, and spotted this bunch at the end of a branch and the late afternoon sun had coloured it a burnished amber, and it was so eye-catching, that I could not avoid clicking this for posterity.

But I guess even the best photographs, cannot equal the actual beauty that was perceived that afternoon……

Fun Fridays…

Max, the cockatoo at the Butterfly Park in Singapore is a fun loving but very mischievous bird….

It is fun to just sit and watch his antics as he prances around and talks loudly Smile

Common Lime

The Common Lime Butterfly, Papilio demoleus, is a common and widespread Swallowtail butterfly. It gets its name from its host plants which are usually citrus species such as lime. Unlike most swallowtail butterflies it does not have a prominent tail.
