Boundary

IMG_0180-001

Alone stands a door on the boundary of the courtyard, a silent sentinel to all that goes on within….
A yearning fills the heart, to open the door and explore the countryside….
But alas, the door on the boundary is locked and freedom awaits….

Dew drops of friendship…

IMG_0069

In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

~ Kahlil Gibran

It was a pleasant morning after a light drizzle and I was walking in the garden, where I spied this little wild-flower, with water droplets on its petals….it was so beautifl, it just had to be captured Smile

Serenity

Every time I see this serene Buddha clicked by us at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum, the Serenity Prayer comes to mind 😊

O God, give us the serenity to accept what cannot be changed,

The courage to change what can be changed,

and the wisdom to know the one from the other

Walls we build around us …..

Humans are called social animals, but they always build walls to keep other humans away….

The beauty of Nature….

Nature is so beautiful that even leaves that are dying with the changing seasons have so much beauty and art embedded in them. I was just walking down a path in the Delhi zoo, and spotted this bunch at the end of a branch and the late afternoon sun had coloured it a burnished amber, and it was so eye-catching, that I could not avoid clicking this for posterity.

But I guess even the best photographs, cannot equal the actual beauty that was perceived that afternoon……
